It helps promote wound healing by being an effective antimicrobial, removing exudate and debris effectively, changing color when it needs to be replaced, forming a gel over the wound for moist healing, and potentially accelerating healing rates for earlier patient discharges. Additionally, Iodoflex pads contain Cadexomer iodine that can absorb up to 6 times its weight in fluid.
